On June 12, 2025, the boardroom at Live Well Prince George Society came alive with color, music, and community spirit as members of the Filipino community gathered to celebrate Philippine Independence Day. The space was beautifully decorated with Philippine flags and balloons in red, white, and blue, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere. The event featured heartfelt prayers, uplifting speeches—including remarks by Rosalyn Bird—and lively conversations honoring the Philippines’ rich history and the strength of its people.2025,
